Holiday Tip #2

Plan out your promotion schedule now using something as simple as the calendar below.

Holiday Promo Calendar

Nationally recognized key dates:

Nov 6 – Daylight savings ends

Nov 24 – Thanksgiving

Nov 25 – Black Friday

Nov 26 – Small Business Saturday

Dec 24 – Hanukkah begins

Dec 16 – Shipping cut off to make it safely by Christmas Eve

Note: This year there are 30 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas vs only 29 days last year.

How are you going to make the most of this extra shopping day?

Review any unusual events from last year, good or bad. Any event that drove exceptional sales volume last year is now a liability. You should know these dates and make a plan to meet or beat that sales number!

Ask yourself what didn’t work last year and WHY?
