Cost Effective Benefit Add-ons, Business After Hours Event at the LBDC

The Loveland Business Development Center will be offering a Business After Hours event, Cost Effective Benefit Add-ons, on Monday, March 11th from 4 pm – 6 pm at the Loveland Chamber of Commerce conference room (5400 Stone Creek Circle in Loveland). The event is free but registration is requested. The event will start out with networking and continue with a presentation by top business leaders who will be sharing their insight on adding benefits to your business that won’t break the bank. Beverages and appetizers will be provided by  First National Bank. Lisa Leveillee, Sr. Advisor Small Business at First National Bank, will be the fascilitator.

The speakers will be Michael Amberg of Kaiser Permanente, Mark Weaver of Open Door Solutions, Tim Hebert of Sage Benefit Advisors, Renee Pifer of Legal Shield and Stephanie Flanders-Martin and Jennifer Maddox of Office Yoga™.

Michael Amberg

Michael Amberg is the Director of Business Development and Market Expansion for the Colorado region with Kaiser Permanente. Michael is very active in the community, serving on the following boards: Loveland Chamber of Commerce, Success Foundation, Northern Colorado United for Youth, ACE, and he is also a mentor with Partners Mentoring Youth.

Before working at Kaiser Permanente, Michael was able to build Amazing Athletes of Eastern Oklahoma from the ground up, developing the business into one of the top franchises in the country. He served as a mentor to more than 20 franchisees, helping them build successful businesses of their own.

Mark Weaver

Mark Weaver started Open Door in 2009. He helps organizations uncover their organizational DNA, and then uses that to tailor solutions to team, culture, and people issues. His solutions are as unique to his clients as your fingerprints are to you. He works with companies and Not-For-Profits around the nation; startups to corporations.

Mark has been a COO, an HR Executive, a consultant, and a member of several local Boards. He facilitates Board and Leadership Retreats, speaks at National and Regional Conferences, has had his work featured in national publications, and has recently completed the first draft of a book titled, “A Tale of Two Companies.”

Tim Hebert

Tim Hebert is the managing partner at Sage Benefit Advisors, a Colorado health insurance and employee benefits agency. Tim also serves as the State Legislative Chair for Colorado State Association of Health Underwriters Association and is a certified health care reform consultant for PPCAC and self-funding. With over 19 years of experience, Tim has helped thousands of individuals and hundreds of businesses to successfully navigate the health insurance markets. His mission is to help his clients to live longer, more fulfilling, and financially secure lives. 

Renee Pifer

Renee Pifer was introduced to the services that LegalShield/I.D.Shield offered to individuals and businesses and became an advocate for this “disruptive” cause; equal justice under law for everyone.  Educating entrepreneurs, small business owners and decision makers of the key elements of how LegalShield works is something she does well with the intention of enlightening, not selling. 

Renee is a Windsor Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. She relocated from Cleveland, Ohio, in 2008 and calls Windsor her home.

Stephanie Flanders-Martin

Stephanie Flanders-Martin has practiced yoga for many years and loves to spread the word that yoga is for Every-Body! Her passion is teaching meditation to quite the mind in our busy lives.

Stephanie studied yoga at Full Circle Yoga Studio in Longmont, Colorado and received her 20-hr OYO Instructor Training with Maryam Sharifzadeh in Boulder, Colorado. In addition to her initial certifications, she holds a certification in Restorative Yoga, studied Yin Yoga with Jennifer Raye, and holds a stress management certification after studying with world-renowned specialist Dr. Brian Luke Seaward.

Jennifer Maddox

Jennifer Maddox loves connecting with her students and providing a safe space where everyone is welcome. With mindful sequencing she works to create yoga classes that allow her students to return to themselves, focus inward, recharge and leave feeling refreshed. Jennifer approaches teaching with a heartfelt desire to give back and share with others something that has been a life-changing experience for her.

Jennifer is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) receiving her initial certification at Full Circle Yoga in Longmont, Colorado. In addition, she holds a certification in Restorative Yoga and is a certified Office Yoga ™ Instructor having completed her training with Maryam Sharifzadeh.
